BitDefender, an award-winning provider of security software and services, today announces the visit of Carl XVI Gustav, the King of Sweden, to its antivirus research laboratories, in Bucharest.

His Majesty's visit included a familiarization tour of BitDefender Headquarters and the event highlighted the interest of broad-spectrum society to security technologies. The visit to BitDefender of His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustav was part of the state visit.

The Marshal of the Swedish Royal Court - Johan Fischerstr�m, the Swedish Finance Ministry - Gunnar Lundt, the Romanian Ambasador to Sweden - Adrian Constantinescu and the Romanian Culture Ministry - Razvan Theodorescu, accompanied the king in his visit.
